Joshua Liner Gallery has moved spots in NYC to a street-level, 2,600-square-foot exhibition space located at 540 West 28th Street in the Chelsea Arts District. To kick off the opening of the new space, the gallery will open a group show, Direct Address, this Thursday March 21 with a great roster of former Juxtapoz cover artists and features, as well as some new talent that we look forward to checking out. Swoon, Steve "ESPO" Powers, David Ellis, Evan Hecox, and Jean-Pierre Roy are just a few names in the show....

After Sandy, one of the largest and fiercest storms to menace the East Coast, galleries re-open their doors and we attend the opening reception of San Francisco based artist Tiffany Bozic, at Joshua Liner Gallery. Her show called Transformation, reminds us a peculiar and colorful Nature where its elements kindly create an unexpected harmony.

Even though superstorm Sandy has postponed the November 1 opening of Tiffany Bozic's reception for Transformation at Joshua Liner Gallery, we have a preview of some of the fantastic new works from the Bay Area artist. Transformation showcases the artist’s meticulous rendering of animal and plant subjects that recasts nature as fable.

Tiffany Bozic, cover of our January 2011 issue, just had a monograph released through Gingko Press, Drawn By Instinct. We were lucky enough to get a copy of it here in the office, and with 192 pages of Bozic's beautiful animal and sea life paintings, this is one of our favorite books of the year. On Tuesday September 4th at 6:00pm, Bozic will be giving a lecture and book signing at the San Francisco Public Library, in conjunction with the Cal Academy of Sciences (Bozic was the artist-in-residence there a few years back).

This Saturday, March 24. Copro Gallery in Santa Monica will be opening our 18th Birthday exhibition, Juxtapoz Turns 18. This week, we will be doing teasing previews of the entire exhibition, and today we have works from Mike Giant, Mark Ryden, Kathy Schorr, Skinner, Dennis McNett, Niagara, and Tiffany Bozic.

January 2011 cover artist, Tiffany Bozic, created these great kite/flags featuring her work for the Juxtapoz art-curated portion of Outside Lands Festival going down in San Francisco this weekend. We just caught up with Tiffany in Golden Gate Park before her flags get put into some of the surrounding trees. Great work.

This year, the now annual Outside Lands Music & Arts Festival in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco, have asked Juxtapoz to curate and present the visual art for this year's festival. So we gathered a team of artists, including Mike Shine, Monica Canilao, Nicholas Kuszyk, Tiffany Bozic and others to contribute installations and works for weekend event.
