Opening February 4 at Thinkspace Gallery in Los Angeles, There Is Time To Kill Today will showcase new paintings, drawings and the debut of a new series of charcoal works on canvas from Burbank-based artist Ana Bagayan. Her work explores images of adolescence as metaphors for larger themes of ethos and wonder and has been featured in such publications as Rolling Stone, Spin, GQ and various others.

She creates complicated, intricate, sometimes uncomfortable worlds of meat, vegetation, and birds and beasts of various sizes. She graduated from the University of Virginia with a BA in History. Sommers opens a new body of work, Potter's Field, at Thinkspace Gallery on January 7, 2012.

This September Thinkspace will host the debut U.S. solo show, Homage to Canton, from Scotland based artist Lindsey Carr. The show will be based around Canton, the old trading port in China where various flora and fauna were brought, traded ahd studied by merchants from around the world.
