The Rabbit Eye Movement, a name we are familiar with by its close affiliation to the dissecting spray can artist, Nychos, will be opening a new artspace in Vienna next month. For their first show entitled “Drink ‘N’ Draw” a diverse group of artists including many members of The Weird and the talented graffiti writer, Sobekcis, will be showing new work. The opening reception is on December, 6 2012 and will also include several DJ’s.

Berlin Gets The Weird

Comprising of an assortment of artists working in a range of mediums, The Weird, has been creating some entertaining murals over the last few years. Collective members Low Bros, Dxtr, Vidam, Look, and Hrvb collaborated on the following wall in Berlin using plenty of purple, complimenting with the walls original color nicely.

Various members of the collective, The Weird, including Zipper, Spray, Look, HrvB, Nychos and Cone, portrayed what a “street art tour” could possibly look at.  We have never been on one, but apparently they do go down and people are shelling out bucks for guidance to the “hot spots.”

Consisting of an eclectic roster of artists from various regions of Europe and beyond, The Weird, regularly organizes a majority of their members to collaborate on humorously themed productions.  Their newest effort is a play on Walt Disney, featuring numerous renditions of popular icons such as Daffy Duck, Whiney The Pooh, Goofy, Bambi, and more.

The creative collective comprising of a number of character-based artists known as The Weird, recently combined efforts in painting their own rendition of Leonardo da Vinci’s “The Last Supper.” The mural shows a variety of animated characters painted by the talents of Rookie, Dxtr, Nychos, Low Bros, Frau Isa, Look, Cone, Vidam, and Herr von Bias.

A group of street artists have been working under the name, The Weird when painting together in the streets.  The following wall was created by Dxtr, Cone, Rookie, and Nychos.  Other members include Low Bros, Peachbeach, Vidam, Look, Frau Isa, and Hrv8, not a bad linup.
