Album artwork has given pop-culture some of it's most iconic imagery that has been appropriated and manipulated by artists again and again. Artist Harvezt has taken a new approach to album art inspired artworks by creating the the opposite perspective. Harvezt's series titled The Dark Side of the Covers reverses the iconic scenes so that they are visualized from behind.

The Beatles are ubiquitous. John Lennon may no longer be with us, but his voice still echoes on radios, CDs, record players, and computers across the globe. It's no wonder that the fab four have made a whole book worth of comic strip appearances, all of which are riddled with beautiful illustrations and imaginative adaptations of the pop music masters.

Aka, using almost restroom iconography, creative studio H-57 has created this simple graphics to explain complex cultural icons and films. To celebrate the Beatles' 50th anniversary 50by70 has published the first ever set of fine art prints of the stunning artwork from the classic 1968 animated film Yellow Submarine. Yellow Subversion: The Artwork of Yellow Submarine is a strictly limited edition boxed set of five full colour screen prints accompanied by a book featuring an essay by the legendary Simpsons writer, showrunner and producer Josh Weinstein.
