Valencia-based street artist and illustrator, Hyuro opens a solo exhibition, Casual Anomalies this Thursday at the Starkart gallery in Zurich, Switzerland. We watched a lot of Hyuro works in progress at Nuart this past Fall, and the works were really well executed with strong concepts. This show will be no less.

We don't know if Swiss artist Ivan Ebel is going to continue or develop these anatomical paintings any further, but the first two images we have seen are a good start. Looks as if he is using anatomical design as a tattoo upon his painted human body. Both the female and male subjects get their own treatment.

Swiss animated film director Georges Schwizgebel is the man behind Jeu (2006) and The Man With No Shadow (2004), two great short animated films. Watch 'em!

Teiji Hayama's paintings join together western and Japanese influences, combining different art historical periods with contemporary Japanese pop culture. Hayama's pale, etereal figures with frail bodies and pale tinited eyes often inspired by mangas, portray an angelic appearance which clashes with a penetrating and unnerving glare directed at the viewer.
