San Diego-based artist, Kelsey Brookes, was recently profiled my Mercedes Benz in this video. Mercedes Benz? Watch as Kelsey rides a skateboard and talks about connecting to nature through surfing, but no discussion on operating a vehicle.

Another happening at the moment in NYC was the The Hottest 100 Yards / The Eighties at Echo Beach (in collaboration with Quiksilver) book launch and exhibition at Partners & Spade, featuring photos from Jeff Divine that are seen in the T. Adler published book, The Eighties at Echo Beach.

We were very lucky to receive a copy of T. Adler Books newest release, Surfing Photographs from the Eighties, featuring the photography of Jeff Divine. We are also very lucky to have T. Adler layout a few pairs for us in our July Issue of the magazine as well.

A few years ago, Juxtapoz filmmaker, Alexander Klein, directed and finished the documentary "God Went Surfing with the Devil," a look at the Israel-Palestine conflict through the lens of surfing. This Thursday (February 17) "GWSWD" will be screened at Nike's Bowery Stadium at 276 Bowery in Manhattan, with special discussion with Klein and host Jason Goodman afterward. Keegan Gibbs, who is showing Open Spaces at Known Gallery in Los Angeles starting tonight, January 15, just sent us some teasing images and previews of what is in the works if you stop by.
