Nathan Fox for SVA's NYC Subway Poster Series

Our friends at the School of Visual Arts in Manhattan just alerted us to their new curated poster series in the NYC Subway system with artist Nathan Fox. SVA has been commission this series for years, and have tapped the likes of Stefan Sagmeister, Milton Glaser, Tony Palladino, Paula Scher, to name just a few, to participate. THe SVA alums' posters follow the adventures of "Tako, an artist who brings her creations to life and travels to imaginary places. Each bears the message "What's Your Story?"--to inspire commuters to realize their own ambitions." The posters are up through February, 2014.

New York Mta Subways cars get wallpapered by Kaws

To have your artwork cover the inside and outside of a New York subway car is a rare opportunity for any artist, especially one who initially made his name in the streets with graffiti. Kaws who has gone on to become an accomplished artist and businessman in a number of platforms, was also recently invited to participate in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade with his own signature balloon. To see the cars in person head on down to Grand Central Station or Times Square and catch the S train. You won’t miss it!
