As part of his “Under the Influence” series, New Zealand-based graffiti artist, Askew, painted this mural in the highly populated Yemeni area of Hamtramck, Mi, and fused the US and Yemen flags together.

Low Bros @ Freie Internationale Tankstelle

The multi-disciplinary artist duo working under the name, Low Bros, recently held an exhibition at the Freie Internationale Tankstelle in Germany.  The pair filled the inside and outside with their signature style work, leaving the place fully saturated in color.  The gallery contained works on wood and installation pieces, while the exterior of the building was paint in collaboration with artists Base 23 and Billy.

Besides producing one of the best photography magazines around, Hamburger Eyes founder Ray Potes runs Photo Epicenter, a full-service, professional darkroom facility. Photo Epicenter provides custom printing and offers monthly memberships for 7-days-a-week access to one b/w and two color darkrooms. Here are some photos of a recent visit to the lab, located in the heart of San Francisco's Mission District.
