Australian artist Buff Dis takes to the street with his "non-destructive" graffiti, aka masking tape. 

This large wall at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy in Kiev, Ukraine was recently brightened up by aritsts, WaOne of Interesni Kazki and Seth Globepainter. The children with their faces stuffed into books were painted by Globepainter, while everything inside the rounded cloud was from the hand of WaOne. As usual, the imagery these two chose to paint is very surreal and dreamlike.

Back in January (Yes, we know that is sooooo long ago), the talents of Kofie and The Mac combined forces to upgrade the front exterior of the Soze Gallery in Los Angeles. The Mac took care of the hand holding the pen while Kofie painted the geometrical background patterns. The two have collaborated several times over the years and it’s a winning combination every time.

JR and Jose Parla first collaborated last year in the streets of Havana, Cuba and now they have just completed a mural on the posh walls of Chelsea, Manhattan. The two will be showing together next week on May 7 in a show entitled “The Wrinkles of the City” at Bryce Wolkowitz Gallery in New York. This particular wall reminds us of similar collaboration esthetics such as when The Mac and Retna worked together.

The “No Muos” movement is attempting to halt the construction of a United States Department of Defense ground station that is being built within the Nature Reserve of Niscemi, Italy. The site has been deemed environmentally important by the European Commission Habitats Directive and public prosecutors have identified that the MUOS construction violates environmental legislation governing the nature reserve. Italian muralist, Blu, headed to Niscemi to help spread the message and created a massive mural of a satellite dish machine against an army of protestors. 

Participating in the Memorie Urbane Festival in Terracina, Italy, Spanish artist, Hyuro, painted the following mural entitled “Cycles.” In a series of 10 strong images, the artist brilliantly depicts the life cycle from birth to death. Be sure to view the drawing for this wall and its details.

We are enjoying Austin-based artist Josef Kristoletti's murals this morning. His latest piece, Protein Lite, renders colorful three-dimensional looking prisms and was painted at the first biennial of the south in Panama. The project invites artists to "use street art and public interventions for the promotion of contemporary art in the urban culture and public environment of the central American region."

That menacing, wide-grinning fish you can’t escape seeing in the streets of Barcelona is finding his way around Paris as of recent. The artist responsible, Pez, has been painting his signature character for over a decade and they continue to multiply, turning into large schools of fish.

We posted photos earlier this week of some new work that popped up in the streets of London from Conor Harrington. Again, the artist is back at with another new piece this time in collaboration with artist, Maser. If your looking to see this in person it can be located somewhere on Buxton Street, we don’t think it will be too hard to miss.
