Banksy's art gets Privatized

$1.1 million US dollars is how much a removed Banksy artwork sold at a private auction held by a London-based company named Sincura Group over the weekend. The group that specializes in hard to find aka unobtainable items for clients sold the piece to an unnamed buyer. The artwork was originally stenciled on the side of a thrift store in London where it received considerable attention from locals and street art fans before it was mysteriously removed. The piece first went up for sale at an auction in Miami, but was withdrawn from the auction after pressure from an organized international campaign.

Some lucky girl (Her name is Angela actually) was proposed to by her boyfriend Phillip Burton via a mural on the Shoreditch Art Wall, Great Eastern St, London. Wanting to do something different, the cleverly romantic boyfriend enlisted the talents of Animaux Circus, a local illustration, mural and sign painting studio. The Animaux Circus team delivered a mural influenced graphically by Asian textile design, berlin bears & bold, bright colors. Oh, and she said yes. Obviously.
