With summer in full effect, muralists around the globe are hitting the streets and taking advantage of the good painting weather. Zed1 apparently has been taking advantage more than most, knocking out 5 new pieces in the last month in Italy and the U.K.

2 new murals from Alexis Diaz

Puerto Rico-based artist, Alexis Diaz, has been spening his days traveling around, painting two new murals in the process. The first one is at the Tel-Aviv Beach in Vienna, Austria, in which Diaz painted a submarine-looking fish with octopus tentacles as propellers and a crane as its captain. The other is in Bratislava, Slovakia, where you can see the image of a hybrid animal with hands for wings set to a dismal background.

David La Mano’s newest piece was painted as a black silhouette and depicts a hoard of his little characters navigating a whale like a ship.

Kislow in Gdynia, Poland

Kislow produced the following mural while participating in the Traffic Design Festival in Gdynia, Poland. Once again, the Ukrainian artist’s work involves elements of sailing culture accompained with surreal imagery.

Taking in to account the surrounding environment and its elements, the artist alters billboards playing with the viewer’s visual perception. The multi-disciplinary street art collective has a number of members and is not solely restricted to street art, but also works in design, illustration and music. This piece in Haifa Port and was paint by members Taint and Unga.

Xuan Alyfe in Avilés, Spain

Xuan Alyfe recently completed this wall in Avilés, which is located in the Northern region of Spain on what looks to be the side of someone’s home. This new piece contains plenty of fine detail, stimulating design, and Arabic style lettering on the small garage door.

It’s been a while since we have posted any news on Brisbane-based street artist, Fintan Magee and it appears he has been making some wonderful new work in the street. 

"Anatomy of the BunnyKitty" by Nychos x Pursue

While in Detroit for his show “I’d Like to Meat You!” at Innerstate Gallery, Nychos got busy on some walls, one of the most stand out being his collaboration with Pursue. Together, the two dissected and sectioned Pursue’s “BunnyKitty.” Both artists continually use bunnies in their work, so the two working together seems naturally fitting and it sows with this piece.
