Burn Portraits in Yekaterinburg, Russia

T-Radya creates portraits of Russian WWII soldiers by creating faces from bandages on wooden boards and then burns them to create this very discarded, aged form of street art. It doesn't make sense completely until you see the portraits put onto walls, and in this case, placed on an old WWII hospital in Yekaterinburg, Russia.

Merida Factory Youth Movement

Built by architectural firm Selgas Cano in Merida Spain, Merida Factory Youth Movement, is an all-encompassing fun zone for kids and young adults.  Completed this year, the project includes a skatepark, concert hall, rock climbing, theatre, ballroom, and even broadband Internet.  The entire building is covered under a large thermal canopy, allowing use in all weather conditions.  Open to anyone and beautifully designed.
