"Thinker Of This" Opening Photos at Brooklynite

Opening over the weekend at Brooklynite Gallery, Thinker of This showcased a variety of work from two traveling artists Other and Stinkfish.  Not yet having the opportunity to visit Broolynite, it appears to have a well-lit backyard wall where the artists painted and wheatpasted site-specific installations.  The show runs until November 26, 2011 if you find yourself in Brooklyn.

Jenny Sabin is the Assistant Professor in the College of Architecture, Art & Planning at Cornell University and recently created this multi-purpose greenhouse at the American Philosophical Society’s garden. Constructed of recycled and recyclable materials, this greenhouse also contains cabinets displaying digitally produced ceramic art objects that are inspired by forms in nature.

BMD Fish in New Zealand

BMD is a street artist from New Zealand and that about as deep as our information gets.  We do know that he created this large mural of 3 lonnngggg fish in various states of existence.  It appears one has vacated earth, the other may be sushi soon, and the top fish is feeling pretty good  about life with his shades in the sun.

Hyuro Painting in Bergen

Months back we shared several of the walls and video of five artists that were invited to voice their opinions on capitalism directly on the walls of Nhh Norwegian School of Economics in Bergen.  We thought we had seen all of the walls until today when Spanish artist, Hyuro uploaded this painting of a person laying down.
