NELIO x THTF Exhibition and Video

Rue Camille Jordan Gallery in Lyon, France hosted a collaborative group show linking Nelio and THTF Collective together.  Utilizing both the inside and outside of the gallery, the aim was to build a homogeneous and uniformed idea around the same thought.  Using Geometrical designs, a variety of shapes, and a soothing color palette, for a nice all around display of work.

Xuan Alyfe’s surreal miniature paintings continue to pop up and play trickery on the eyes.  We imagine there are cryptic messages imbedded within the strange content, but even if there is not, it’s still very visually pleasing.

House of the Future

In 1957, the House of the future opened at Disneyland, constructed completely out of plastic. This was a walk-through attraction that provided a glimpse of how future living may be. There were no traditional furniture styles or natural materials in the House of the Future. Everything was ultra-modern and entirely synthetic. It was torn down in 1967 and rumor has it that the wrecking ball just bounced off the exterior!

Famiglia Porcelain Artist Cans

The Brazilian collective known as, “Famiglia” has collaborated with Bombe to create four limited edition porcelain spray cans. Each uniquely different, platinum plated, and in editions of 60. The four artists involved are Herbert Baglione, Acruz Sesper, Felipe Yung, and Thais Beltrame.

Avondale Heights Library & Learning Center

Constructed from ceramic tiles, timber, powder-coated steel, fritted glass and composite panels, with multiple brightly colored and patterned panels, Avondale Heights Library & Learning Centre is a refreshing take on architectural design. This community building is located in Melbourne, Australia and was designed by H20 Architects.
