Canadian globetrotting artist, Other, opened his newest show Downriver over this past weekend at Parentheses Gallery in Hailfax, Canada.  The artist included paintings on wood and book covers, mixed media work, linocuts, and screenprints.  Looks like a great show and we wish we could view it in person.

Birds by Roa in Katowice, Poland

Another artist participating in the Katowice Street Art Festival in Poland is Belgian muralist, Roa.  Using two sections of a building, the artist painted two birds.  One bird is displayed normally, while the other bird’s interior organs and skeletal structure are visible.

New Nychos Mural in Clichy, Paris

Nychos who often paints sectioned and dissected creatures, has dropped another lengthy wall on the streets of Clichy, France.  This time around the artist used a simple figure of a human, stretched and pieced apart.

New Remed & 3ttman Painting

European muralists, Remed and 3ttman, were commissioned by the Spanish Embassy of Sarajevo to create a piece for a future reconstructed Vijecnica, which is a historical building purpose-built as the city hall.  In 1992, the building was hit by bombs, heavy artillery, and was burned during the Siege of Sarajevo. The two artists worked with the ideas of hope, unity, peace, and love based on the history of Sarayevo’s people.

Henrique Oliveira

Creating installation work that looks similar to living creature’s organs, Brazilian multidisciplinary artist, Henrique Oliveira has a way with manipulating plywood.  Often working indoors, the artist occasionally works in the street altering the facades of building and the final product is spectacular.

New Dal Mural in Melbourne
