Our friend and recent collaborator, Kenji Hirata, just opened a new body of work at Enamel Art Space in St Louis, and the gallery has a great studio visit video that we wanted to share today. The show features of new works of paper and canvas, expanding on the Brooklyn artist's already futuristic and abstract style. The show is open through March 9, 2014, so you in the Midwest, brace the cold and go check it.

We have posted about St. Louis-born artist Edward Kinsella III on the site before, but we just saw that he posted a series of new works that we think are quite good. Kinsella graduated from Ringling School of Art and Design in 2006 and attended two summers of the Illustration Academy to achieve the level of cohesiveness that his craft displays today. Some of these works are on display at Ghostprint Gallery in Richmond, Virginia through Saturday, July 28.

St. Louis, Missouri-based (congrats to the Cardinals) painter Eva Lundsager merges the practices of landscape painting and abstraction juxtaposing broad, thin fields of color alongside smaller, more detailed brushwork yielding rich colorful canvases and works on paper.
