Spoke Art gallery is proud to present “Guns and Ecstasy” the latest solo show from Bay Area mixed media sculptor Scott Hove. Following Hove’s participation with Spoke Art at the recent Miami and New York City art fairs in 2012 and 2013, we are honored to have a new body of work by the artist on view in his hometown of San Francisco this month.

Only a few days remain to check out the 2nd Annual Supersonic Electronic Invitational at Spoke Art in San Francisco. What is a 2nd Annual Supersonic Electronic Invitational you may ask? Curator Zach Tutor has compiled a group of 32 contemporary artists, including Audrey Kawasaki, Erik Jones, Joao Ruas, Soey Milk, Conrad Roset who blur "the lines between multitudes of genres into a single, pluralistic whole."

Erik Jones is an artist and illustrator focusing on contemporary figure painting and cover illustration. His colorful abstractions and geometric configurations add an unexpected element to his portraits of topless beauties. Jones is based in Brooklyn, New York. Featured is a new painting for the 2nd Annual Supersonic Electronic Invitational at Spoke Art in San Francisco, California.

Spoke Art Gallery in San Francisco just opened the Moleskine Project #2, a group exhibition that features a spread page taken from the sketchbooks of more than 50 artists from around the world. It brings together a broader network of sketchbooks from renowned illustrators, concept artists, oil painters and more. For the third straight year, Spoke Art Gallery has turned their space into an homage to the fantastic filmmaker Wes Anderson. The show, which ran for two days this past weekend as a Halloween costume party, featured seventy-five painting, prints, and sculptures by an amazing group of talented artists who have come to admire the wacky and wonderful world that Anderson has created over the years.

Spoke Art is pleased to present Fade and Finish, a new solo show by San Francisco-based painter Jessica Hess. Following her successful solo show last year at White Walls gallery, and two person show with Kevin Cyr there the year before, Jessica Hess will be debuting a new body of original paintings this September at Spoke Art gallery in San Francisco.

Culver City's Thinkspace Gallery is taking the short trip up to San Francisco to curate a group exhibition at Spoke Art, opening tomorrow, Thursday, May 3. The show will feature familiar faces of the Thinkspace roster, including Allison Sommers, Dabs Myla, Dan-ah Kim, Dave MacDowell, Kelly Vivanco, Liz Brizzi, Nathan DeYoung, Seth Armstrong, Stella Im Hultberg, Stephanie Buer, Yosuke Ueno and others.
