This past Saturday night in Santa Monica, Copro Gallery opened a special exhibition, Juxtapoz Turns 18, a retrospective and collection of artworks and artists who have helped shape our publication over nearly two decades. Hundreds upon hundreds of artists and gallery-goers made it out to the opening, enjoying a look at what has made the magazine a leading voice in underground and contemporary art for 20 years.

Our good friend and killer artist, Sacramento-based Skinner, just released a new book through Gingko Press and Zerofriends, Every Man Is My Enemy. Besides the great collection of works in the book, there is an incredible quote from Skinner's high school art teacher, Larry Alberts: "Skinner is a psychopathic psycho, that's the worst kind you know...". That is a compliment.

Tonight, November 4 in Venice, California, HoodieBuddie is throwing a kick off party to celebrate their new pop-up shop and their In Your Hood: HoodieCollab project. HoodieBuddie worked with artists Skinner, Hannah Stouffer, Cat Cult, Sterling Bartlett, and SPRFKR, who all created their own special hoodie available at auction.

The LA-based artist has gained a lot of attention in the past year with his stoic cats being placed in murals and street pieces around the city.
