This morning we take a look at some new work from Los Angeles-based artist Rob Sato. We have featured Sato before in Juxtapoz Magazine. We love his rich, colorful and highly detailed dream-like sketches and paintings.   

There are no amount of jpgs or bandwidth that can convey the beauty that is Matt Ritchie's creativity. His artwork is simply something that HAS to be experienced in person. You see, in a subculture overrun with overstimulation, instant gratification and the notion that "bigger is always better", Matt Ritchie has taken an unheard-of approach to his art: subtlety, persistence, and passion.

  'Orka Collective is a project of two people, Abo and Ooli, who have the same way of thinking. We get our inspiration from nature, magic, animals, people and from everything that happens around us. We specialize in graphic and web design, illustration and branding.'

Here we have some sketches from illustrator Dave Mott's sketch blog where you can see some of his works in progress as well as observational drawings and more. Dave uses a combo of both traditional and digital drawing to create his works for a variety of clients.
