Brigitte, Kate and Martine are part of a series of 70s pin-ups from Lui magazine, as illustrated by Alain Aslan for Boom-Art, a gallery dedicated to board culture. Boom and Holenite Pool are reproducing 3 of these pin-ups as limited edition skate decks created by the famed french painter and sculptor, who has produced a huge body of extra- ordinary pinup art that is technically exquisite and playfully provocative.

Longtime skater, designer and ATL native Greg Mike has lent his hand to a new REAL capsule drop releasing this week worldwide in skateboard shops. The REAL x GM capsule contains a one of a kind 3' tall hand painted sculpture being auctioned off with 100% of the proceeds going to the JohnnyKicksCancer Foundation.

A nice touch of nostalgia this morning, as we came across Bill Eppridge's skateboarding photos he took in New York City during the 1960s Some of the photos here almost suggest that Bill handed boards to unsuspecting visitors to Central Park, but others, like this skinny suit hipster, seem to have a good skill.

As you may know, Haroshi creates sculptures from recycled skate decks. He exhibited new sculptures at HUF's headquarters in Los Angeles this past weekend.
