This morning, the World Wide Web is winning. Artist James Harvey has proposed and is organizing a project seeing the complete re-telling of Otomo Katsuhiro's manga classic Akira using characters from The Simpsons. Inspired by fellow artist Ryan Humphrey's drawings, James is enlisting the help of 768 people to each create 6 pages each of all six volumes. Recently gathering a lot of attention across the internet is Chris aka Simpsons artist who caricatures fictional characters and celebrities. His career was allegedly inspired by watching The Simpsons hence the title. The writings and drawings he publishes on his Facebook page are fascinating, dark, and laughter-inducing (an uncomfortable type of laughter).

Being a product of The Simpsons generation, there have been numerous times (not really) when I have considered getting an actual permanent reminder how much I love and cherish that yellow cartoon family, my second family... but I'll leave it to those brave souls that actually did to show off their Simpsons ink in our selection of our favorite Simpsons tattoos of the moment.

Seeing how Homer has such an iconic face, it will take more than a to hide his identity.  Here he is plotting on some clean trains looking rather suspicious.
