Simón Prades was born in 1985 into a German/Spanish family, living in Saarbrücken, Germany. After receiving a diploma in Graphic Design, he has been working as a freelance illustrator for clients in editorial, advertising and film while teaching drawing and illustration at the University of Applied Sciences in Trier, Germany.

Simon Prades is a freelancing illustrator living and working in Saarbrucken Germany. He teaches illustration at the University of Applied Sciences in Trier. Over the last years he has been working for companies such as the New York Times, The New Statesmen, The New Republic and NIKE. His work is sensitive and gritty, illustrations that make serious use of the artist's hand. They exhibit a sense for exquisite linework in a variety of different mediums.
