San Francisco's Shooting Gallery just opened a new series of works from Paul Chatem this weekend. Another Man's Hero features twenty new pieces, where Chatem delves into the idea that however one person sees themselves, their friends, neighbors, or community may see them as something completely different.

We stopped into the opening of SF-based Charmaine Olivia's solo show, Ritual, at Shooting Gallery in San Francisco this past Saturday night. The exhibit features realist paintings mixed with fantasy, surrealistic imagery, surrounded by installation works.

We stopped by the openings of C215 at Shooting Gallery and Mark Warren Jacques at White Walls Gallery in San Francisco this past Saturday night to see what each artist had set-up for the holiday push. C215, featured in our November 2011 issue, had some great stencils on found objects, and Mark Warren Jacques was on hand to show some of his installation and fine art work.

Brooklyn-based artist, Anthony Sneed, slapped a new layer of paint on the walls of the Boundless NY shop in Williamsburg. Previously home to a character painted by Anthony Lister, Sneed’s new mural is refreshingly minimal, non-intrusive, and easy on the eyes.
