Spoke Art is pleased to present Fade and Finish, a new solo show by San Francisco-based painter Jessica Hess. Following her successful solo show last year at White Walls gallery, and two person show with Kevin Cyr there the year before, Jessica Hess will be debuting a new body of original paintings this September at Spoke Art gallery in San Francisco.

Featured in our August 2012 issue is San Francisco Bay Area based fine artist, Robert Bowen, who is set to show a new body of work in Lethal Injection, opening August 3 at 111 Minna Gallery. A self-proclaimed TV Baby who creates artwork that feels like a stream of consciousness of 1980's and '90's pop-culture, Juxtapoz contributor Shaun Roberts visits Bowen's studio to see the artist's workspace.

We had a chance to watch Brett Amory paint recently, and we had the chance to once again meet with the good people of Anno Domini in San Jose, California. Amory will be showing at AD this September with a new solo show of painting titled, White Light.

San Francisco-based Brett Amory will be opening a new solo show, Dark Light, at Jonathan LeVine Gallery in NYC this Friday, June 30. Shaun Roberts, who has contributed to the magazine in the past, stopped by Amory's studio and sees what the artist has prepared for this show.

On May 13, David Ball will be in Culver City's WWA Gallery's group show, All the Little Sorid Details, along with Jacob Livengood, Dan Barry, Jesse Hotchkiss, Ken Garduno, and William Buzzell. We spoke with David through Back Talk, and got a great video from Shaun Roberts with David to show you.
