Pyrography by Scott Marr

Illustration // Wednesday, October 12, 2011
Australian Scott Marr creates illustrative works through a method called pyrography, the process of burning wood or other materials with a heated tool to create the illustration. Scott includes and applies natural pigments that he's made himself out of raw materials mostly collected from the bush near his home, such as ochres, bark, flowers, sap, berries and other natural products.
