Spoke Art gallery is proud to present “Guns and Ecstasy” the latest solo show from Bay Area mixed media sculptor Scott Hove. Following Hove’s participation with Spoke Art at the recent Miami and New York City art fairs in 2012 and 2013, we are honored to have a new body of work by the artist on view in his hometown of San Francisco this month.

The work of Scott Hove and Cakeland are full of seduction and temptation through the sweet, icing glazed mouths, stilettos atop tauntingly gorgeous cakes. This series of sculptures and installations resemble perfect delicious cakes– wall mounted, hanging and standing with the appeal of the best cake you have ever tasted, but can never be eaten...

Hove's show "Your Deadly Desserts," featuring beautiful cake sculptures and their gaping, terrifying maws, will be showing from Oct. 8 - Nov. 6 at Modern Eden Gallery in San Francisco.
