Just the other day we were questioning where Sam3 had been and why the silence from an artist whose work we thoroughly enjoy? His walls used to pop up more frequently, so we get excited more than ever of a new sighting. This piece entitled "Providencia" was painted in Cartagena, Spain and is superb in its simplicity.

Sam3 has made 8 new original drawing available directly through his website, all signed by the artist. Each piece is 16 x 22cm in size, comes on 370g paper, and were created using black ink, some with spray paint. Pick up a piece now before they are gone.

Spanish artist, Sam3, dropped another gem in the public view with this new large piece for the Arte Urbana Lugano festival in Lugano, Switzerland.

Last week, Sam3 ventured to Valencia, Spain where he collaborated with resident muralist, Escif.  We figured the artist would create multiple murals while visiting or at least we were hoping. This one recently surfaced on the Internet and maybe more to come?  Very simple imagery.

Two of our favorite artists working in the street, Escif and SAM3, recently collaborated on a wall in Escif’s hometown of Valencia, Spain. The mural shows Escif’s headless character in a sequence climbing into Sam3 head.  Painting a significant amount of the wall black, the artists made great use of negative space with the walls previous layered texture.

With multiple street art festivals happening around the globe this summer it’s been difficult to keep up with all the walls being painted. The good ones instantly stand out and Sam3’s murals are among our favorite. This wall was painted in Roma, Italy for the Outdoor Urban Festival. Simple symbolism and great execution using few colors.

Sam3 took advantage of this unused billboard in Murcia, Spain and painted a disassembled mannequin.  Santa is looking rather stressed out on the billboard above; he should be on vacation right about now after the holidays.

Last night, Grottaglie took on a whole new level energy as Fame Festival was officially opened to the public with the opening in the ceramics district. Most importantly, maps were handed out, and the city was crowded with street art enthusiasts walking and driving around the city to see the new additions to the public landscape this past summer.
