New Work By Sam Vanallemeersch

Illustration // Tuesday, January 15, 2013
The intensely detailed drawings of Sam Vanallemeersch are intricatley anarchic, obsessiveley loud and slightly manic. Vanallemeersch is an Antwerp based illustrator with an awe-inspiring collection of graphic work featuring a impressive amount of doodling that is so complex that one must wonder where his drawings begin and end.

Sam Vanallemeersch spends every waking hour tracing life in blackest ink. Once he starts spewing his freeform ravings, there's no stopping him, no human concept is safe from the sharpness of his gaze, no scrap of paper-related material is safe from the sharpness of his pen. Sam has done editorial work for Focus and Weekend Knack, 11 Freunde, The New York Times and Amsterdam Weekl. He has a book published by Nobrow and is already working on the next one.
