Opening on November 24th is Wandering Comma by Ryan McGinley at Alison Jacques Gallery in London. The show will exhibit works that explore McGinley's signature styles of black and white, in studio portraits and vibrant, colorful outdoor "happenings" that embody youthful heathenism. The show will consist of seven 110 x 70" prints.

Space 15 Twenty in Hollywood/Los Angeles has been sporting some nice pop-up shops recently (Input: Output being one great shop). Currently through August 28th, an unprecedented group of well known and underground artists from the New York area will be selling their works at a pop store called Arts & Leisure.

'Life Adjustment Center', by Ryan McGinley, is a series shot in 2010 capturing 'incredibly intimate and seductive moments between the subject and the photographer. The pictures appear almost timeless, harking back to the history of classic photographic portraiture throughout the previous decades.... McGinley adds a sense of improbability by posing the nude models with live animals, adding a further twist to what seems to be a complex depiction between the real and the imagined.'

Ryan McGinley can just capture color better than most contemporary photographers. You want to call it earthly colors shot almost as if you are on another planet. Take that beautiful yellow hue above, just a stunning backdrop to the nude subjects. Cinematic is the right word. The new body of work will be on display in Amsterdam starting April 9.
