Once again, Lazarides Gallery in London has organized a group exhibition in the Old Vic Tunnels way beneath Waterloo Station. The Minotaur features new works by Stanley Donwood, Mode 2, Jonathan Yeo, Antony Micallef, David Choe, Doug Foster, Zak Ove, Ian Francis, Conor Harrington, Vhils, Michael Najjar, ATMA, Zevs, Boxi, Ron English, Lucy McLauchlan, and 3D.

Ron English is set to come to Los Angeles for two exhibitions this Fall: English 101 opens at Post No Bills in Venice on October 6, and Seasons in Supurbia opens at Corey Helford Gallery in Culver City on November 19. Post No Bills will have English present prints, hand-finished multiples, toys, sculptures, and sticker packs.

Ron English just sent us this video, the Augmented Reality Advertising Takeover, created by Heavy Projects. In an effort to highlight the individual's lack of autonomy in this arena, Public Ad Campaign (NYC) in collaboration with The Heavy Projects (LA) have begun to explore the potential of augmented reality to reappropriate outdoor commercial signage in order transform, filter, and democratize the messaging in public space.

The assistant director for Joshua Liner Gallery, Tim Strazza, was recently diagnosed with MS. A group of artists have come together and donated work to be auctioned off to help cover his medical costs. Tonight, July 28th from 7-10 pm at Joshua Liner Gallery in NYC, head over and donate and get some great pieces for a great cause.

Ron English is currently showing a solo exhibition, Skin Deep: Post-Instinctual Afterthoughts On Psychological Portraiture, at Lazarides Gallery in London. The exhibition is "an exploration of the intersections, discrepancies and synchronicities of personal mythologies on display in our public personas."

Our London correspondent, Butterfly, made an exlcusive visit to Lazarides Gallery's new print studio in Wapping, London. The studio produces exclusive small run editions, hand finished screenprints, HPMs, and works on paper for artists like Paul Insect, Stanley Donwood, and Conor Harrington, amongst others.

In late 2010, Ian "Kid Zoom" Strange had a major impact in the art world with his solo show, This City Will Eat Me Alive, at NYC's Opera Gallery.
