Ron English on the Bowery Wall!

Street Art // Monday, April 20, 2015
Finally, and most deservedly, Ron English has painted a mural on the famed Bowery and Houston wall, and its a good one. You know the history of the wall by now; Keith Haring, Os Gemeos, Shepard Fairey, Swoon, and Barry McGee are just a few of the names who have painted the wall, and Ron has added his touch with a Baby Hulk and an American Flag of corporate parodies. Great work Ron!

"Art Truancy: Celebrating 20 Years of Juxtapoz Magazine" @ Jonathan LeVine Gallery—The Art

Juxtapoz // Monday, May 19, 2014
And finally, the art. We are so proud of all the artwork that is on exhibit in "Art Truancy: Celebrating 20 Years of Juxtapoz Magazine," open at Jonathan LeVine Gallery in NYC through June 14, 2014. It blows our mind that we are now two decades old, but what is even more amazing are all the artists that have been in our pages over those years. Their works tell the story, create the chance to document alternative art narratives, bring out the fans, bring out the collectors, and keep the creative energy of Juxtapoz alive. Here, then, is all the art in "Art Truancy."

We had two wild nights of openings and parties, and with the gracious support of the entire Jonathan LeVine Gallery staff, Converse, Liquitex, and all our friends, here is a look at the people who came out and celebrated.
