What’s the vagabond, animal mural painting artist Roa been up to lately? More of the same like painting, painting, and painting. Currently large, big, and huge walls in London. 

Last week, Roa painted a mural of piled animals in London, now he is Southwest in the city of Chichester participating in their local Street Art Festival. This newest mural on yet another beautiful brick wall is of two Blue Tits, a bird common in most of Europe and parts of Western Asia.

Never one to stay put for too long, Roa is now in London where he just completed this mural of piled animals on a very crispyy looking brick wall.

Traveling vagabond muralist, Roa, painted an impressive amount of large animals during a recent visit to Panama City, Panama. We believe these to be some of his best work yet, with thoughtful use of space working with the existing architecture.

    Roa is just about everywhere always. There really is no keeping up with his travels. As part of the ongoing project, ROA and The SK8room traveled to Cambodia to visit Skateistan; a global nonprofit that works with youths from various socioeconomic backgrounds to build trust and skills through skateboarding in order to leave a lasting impression on the country through their combined passions of street art and skateboarding.

Ever the world traveler, ROA made a stop in his native Belgium last week to open Stop Over, an exhibition at Bodson-Emelinckx in Brussels. The show features a ton of new work and installation pieces, featuring ROA's now signature peek-a-boo, hands-on revealing animal anatomy pieces. “The people feed communism to the beast” is the title of this collaborative mural between street artists, Roa and Ever, painted in the neighborhood of Palermo Viejo in Buenos Aires, Argentina. This striking piece shows the head of Chairman Mao (Ever) being offered to a sea elephant (Roa). An unusual combination of images from two artists with different esthetics, but manages to work well in this particular context.

Just because we are fresh in the new year doesn't mean Belgian-artist, ROA (although we assume he hasn't been home in about 36 months) isn't already hard at work. Our friends at Buenos Aires Street Art just reported and documented ROA's new mural piece in BA, and unlike his personality, he went for a street sloth. Here's to another year of ROA pieces popping up worldwide...
