The Art of Richard Hawkins

Juxtapoz // Monday, August 22, 2011
Since the early 90's, Richard Hawkins has been producing a very diverse body of work. From oil paintings that rethink representation, often focusing on a young male figure, to collage work that pulls a large variety of image banks such as ancient Greek and Roman sculpture, 1980's teen heartthrobs, or Native American assimilation.
