This Friday, September 14, 2012, Klughaus Gallery in New York City will be showcasing the work of two Bay Area artists, Victor Reyes and Steel. The show entitled "All Write You Scumbags" will be both artists New York debut. A limited edition zine will also be published in conjunction with the exhibition.

Whoever owns this building in Chicago chose a quality cast of artists informally trained in the art of decorating exteriors. The buildings first paint additions started with the Skewville roller and the Roa characters. Now, the building has been officially pimped and covered with additional work from Reyes, Pose, Omens, and Amuse.

Goorin Brothers rolls out a new collection today, April 26, 2012, by Victor Reyes, titled the XO collection. A two-part party will begin at Goorin's Haight Street store near Ashbury from 5pm to 8pm, then move over to their Cassel Gallery for a special opening to feature Reyes' new "Hold On Tightly" works from 8:30pm to 11pm.

We stopped by the opening for Victor Reyes' latest exhibition, The Jungle' this past Saturday at Known Gallery. The Jungle is a two yearlong exploration of human nature and survival. Jungle themes first appeared on Reyes’ black and while murals and have been translated into the subject of many paintings on wood panel that explore a variety of color palettes. Victor Reyes, the San Francisco-based graffiti and fine artist who has made some of the most significant murals in SF over the past few years, is working on a new solo show, The Jungle, set to open at Known Gallery in Los Angeles on March 24, 2012.
