Front Page Tags from a Jail Cell

Graffiti // Thursday, May 26, 2011
It’s not often a graffiti writers tag graces the cover of The Wall Street Journal, but from a jail cell Revok has a accomplished just this.  Most likely the only person incarcerated with a client list that consists of Levis, Toyota, MGM, HBO, Dickies, and RedBull.  Free Revok!

Crumbling Away

Graffiti // Monday, May 16, 2011
Pose and Omens just finished these large sized pieces in Chicago.  Pose painted a Free Revok in respect to recent events.  We love how the wall is crumbling in the middle to add some nice negative space between the two pieces.

April 2011—Juxtapoz' Art In the Streets Issue

Juxtapoz // Wednesday, March 02, 2011
April 2011 marks a special issue for Juxtapoz Magazine, as we were asked by the MOCA to create a companion issue to the first major instituitional retrospective of street art, Art In the Streets. As we documented street art to a wider-audience of fine art, tattoo, pop-surreal, and illustrative art enthusiasts over our 17 years, we wanted to create an extended dialog and history with graffiti and street art pioneers. A Bunch of Photos from that Retna, Rime, Saber, Revok, Os Gemeos, Norm Wall on Fairfax in LA

Graffiti // Friday, July 23, 2010
Had to make an emergency trip down to Los Angeles this past week, a quick one to get our cover story wrapped up for the September issue. Near my hotel was this, the wall that has been photographed and documented by everyone and their mother by now, but...            I did some weird color thing on accident to the Revok piece, so you have to look at the bigger pictures to see his piece. And his piece was damn good, but I don't want to post some blurred out shot.
