Here are a few opening photos from Revok’s show Triumph and Tragedy that opened over the weekend at Vicious Gallery in Hamburg. It looks as if Revok has been putting the jigsaw to good use in creating these wood collages.

Last night, we headed straight off the place to the preview of the Underbelly Project's exhibition in the Wynwood District in Miami. On display were new pieces from Swoon, Ron English, Dan Witz, Saber, Revok, Mark Jenkins, Faile, and large group of other artists who particpated in the Underbelly Project.

Rime just posted a small essay questioning the well-known term “old school”. With his own words he to attempts to make meaning of what is considered old school and asks the same question to a handful of writers coming from various generations. It appears that perspectives are affected by age, experience and location, but everyone definitely has an opinion.

Watch this new video shot by Kc Ortiz documenting the cross-country travels of Revok, Rime, and Roids. Beginning in Detroit and ending in Los Angeles for their show Perserverance that took place in August at Known Gallery. Accompanied by an upbeat soundtrack and positive portrayal of 3 highly productive artists enjoying life, art, and travel.

Not all of us could make it to Known Gallery last weekend, lucky the opening was properly documented with both photos and video. From what we have seen, it looks as if Revok, Rime, and Roids gave a pleasing presentation for the residents of Los Angeles.

Should be a good one in LA at Known Gallery this Saturday, August 20: Perserverance, new works by Revok, Rime, and Roid. "More than 20 years of house raids, arrests, court cases, jail time and astronomical legal fees… Not to mention the removal or destruction of nearly every one of their life’s works hasn’t slowed a hunger to produce more and better despite the odds."

3 artists that constantly push the envelope in graffiti, Revok, Rime, and Roids star in this well edited, nicely shot video. Side note: this song is one of my favorites.

This picture is deceiving, looks as if this could be a movie set and that grass is just too nice.

Auckland-based graffiti writer, Askew, created the following video documenting Revok and Rime’s trip to New Zealand. Was pleased to hear the music of a personal favorite, Little Dragon and Black Keys to close it out.
