Juxtapoz stopped by EL MAC and RETNA's new mural on 7th and Park View near downtown Los Angeles yesterday morning on an unseasonably warm day. We tried to catch RETNA and MAC in action, but it was better to sit and shoot some photos and cause the neighbors to stop and check out the mural as well. More views after the jump . . .

Juxtapoz Goes to the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas

We, or more so, one of our staff members, made it down to Las Vegas for the 3-day weekend, and stayed at the new Cosmopolitan hotel. In between "those things you do in Vegas but don't mention to others once you leave because the ads tell you to," they snapped a bunch of shots of parking garage, featuring work by RETNA, Kenny Scharf, and Shepard Fairey. Juxtapoz Detroit Project Written Up in Free Press

This past Fall, as we have documented in full, we saw 6 artists off to Detroit to work with Powerhouse Productions as part of our 15th Anniversary Benefit and Auction project. Swoon, Ben Wolf, Monica Canilao, RETNA, Richard Colman, and Saelee Oh all created unique pieces of art in the neighborhood where the money we raised was able to buy property. The local Detroit Free Press just highlighted the project in an extensive article. More information after the jump . . .
