From the site of Goni Montes, an illustrator we really admire, "I was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, got a BA from the UPR at Mayagüez, and an MFA from SCAD Atlanta. I began working as a scientific illustrator for the Puerto Rico Sea Grant. Now I mostly do editorial illustrations with some fantasy here and there."

Los Murals Hablan Festival Underway

Los Murals Hablan translated in English to The Talking Walls, is in full swing in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The mural festival started on October 4, 2012 and has brought international street artists Sego, Aryz, Jaz, Roa, Ever, Neuzz, and a hoard of local artists together to decorate local walls. Here are photos of some of the progress that has been made, finished photos to come.

The Work of Dennis Pomales

Dennis Pomales is a self-taught artist that works under the name Minotauro. He spends most of his time drawing or painting and makes some occasional videos. Inside his laboratory he connects and plays with colors, shapes, sacred geometry, and multi-dimensional creatures that more often than not make him disintegrate with joy.
