Roa paints Native Australian Animals Down Under

In Australia for his solo exhibition “Carrion” at Backwoods Gallery, Roa unsurprisingly already painted a few spots with his black and white animals. The native mountain pygmy possum and platypus were both subjects of the artist’s newest walls in Victora. For a possum, it sure looks adorable and huggable.

The Yok & Sheryo

Brooklyn-based street artists, The Yok and Sheryo, have been collaborating on several walls over the last year, both having similar styles making the work hard to differentiate. The Rabbit Eye Movement, a name we are familiar with by its close affiliation to the dissecting spray can artist, Nychos, will be opening a new artspace in Vienna next month. For their first show entitled “Drink ‘N’ Draw” a diverse group of artists including many members of The Weird and the talented graffiti writer, Sobekcis, will be showing new work. The opening reception is on December, 6 2012 and will also include several DJ’s.

Jade paints the Institute of Visual Arts Lima

The 86th Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade along New York’s Central Park goes down tomorrow, meaning plenty of massive balloon characters, custom floats, marching bands, and all things visually and musically loud. This will be the first time since Keith Haring that an artist who began his career in graffiti has contributed to the parade. Brian Donnelly aka Kaws, will have his signature character “Companion” floating high above in the balloon line-up, a unique opportunity for any artist.
