Other & Labrona at Haverford College

Canadian artists, Other and Labrona, collaborates in giving the Haverford College in Philadelphia a vibrant new mural on the exterior of one of its buildings.  Labrona spoke on this particular trip saying, “It is very important to disseminate murals all across the world. Having never painted in Pennsylvania before, it is a new place to explore and work from. There is no particular significance to the mural. It is more of a freestyle, working within the shape of the wall formed what was painted."

M-City in Finland

Mariusz Waraz, aka M-City, recently took over the exterior of this large building with his distinct machinery looking esthetic in Pori, Finland. The artist was invited to participate in an exhibition entitled “Street Art – The New Generation” put together by the Pori Art Museum. Many well-known street artists are also involved with the show including Blu, Invader, Icy & Sot, and more.

JR & TED: One year of turning the world inside out

It has been over one year since our May 2012 cover artist, JR, won his TED Award and gave his declaration to create a worldwide, public art photo project, Inside Out. Now, TED has released a video recapping the 2011 year winner JR and showing the man's speech about Inside Out's progress. An inspirational viewing.

"Suicide Status" by Anthony Gormley

Anthony Gormeley’s series of 31 life-size body cast sculptures have made their way to the rooftops of San Paulo and apparently the panicked calls to emergency services have been coming in steadily.  In 2011, the sculptures were exhibited in New York and the NYPD had to issue a public statement informing citizens that they were not suicide jumpers.

Italian artist, Mark Burresi, aka ZED1, just finished painting this mural in Lombardy, Italy for the E.G.O. festival.  The contorted colorful characters look as if they are floating off the wall.

The Spanish artists newest mural is entitled “Entropia” and it’s all the adjectives used to describe something that is of upmost quality. Located on the coast of the Alboran Sea in Melilla, Morocco.

Aryz & Saner in Mexico City

Two of our favorite street artists who have both been featured in our printed magazine, Aryz and Saner, collaborated on a new wall in the streets of Mexico City.  Aryz was visiting Mexico for the All City Canvas Project and due to equipment problems was unable to finish a massive mural he was working on.  The combination of styles compliment each other well on this particular wall.
