Spanish muralist, Escif, is in Rome preparing for a show entitled "Suspension Of Disbelief" at the Wunderkammern Gallery.  The artist painted this massive ear while in town, which is part of his newest series of public works different from what we have previously seen from him.

Peter Kunz Architektur: Garagenatelier in Herdern

We prefer looking at cars parked in this manner as opposed to your standard eye violating parking garage.  Designed by Swiss practice Peter Kunz Architekturm the “Garagenatelier” consists of five concrete cubes embedded into the hillside landscape, only partially being revealed. With glass pains offering distant views from the parked cars,  this could be a great place to take a date you intend to make out with!

New Mural by Triangulo Dorado in Buenos Aires

The mural collective, Triangulo Dorado, just completed a new mural in the streets of their hometown Buenos Aires, Argentina.  The quote written in this piece comes from the teaching of famed Indian guru and yogi, Paramahansa Yogananda.  It translates in English to "Seek happiness more and more in your mind and less and less in material things.”

Falling Star: Do Ho-Suh in San Diego

“Falling Star” is an installation by South Korean artist, Do Ho Suh, which leaves a house balancing on the roof of a seven story building on the UC San Diego Campus. Looking as if the house dropped from the sky, visitors can view the piece on the roof, enjoy a beautiful well-manicured garden, and catch a descent view of the surrounding San Diego landscape.

Dface x Smirnoff Teaser Video

English multi-disciplinary artist, Dface, just released this teaser video to promote his collaboration with Smirnoff Vodka on a limited edition collectable bottle.  The artist created a laboratory/bunker where the video suggests the labels are being developed.

Magnum Revolver BBQ Grill

Only in America would a 15-foot bbq grill in the shape of a giant magnum revolver with car wheels on it actually exist.  Amateur high school welding students Stefan Harlicker, Mark Ramsay, Garret Belgarde, Dylan Decrow and Kanyen Bauer of Idaho’s Sandpoint High School created this NRA friendly piece in a school years time.

Massive Treehouse, No blueprints

Built by Minister Horace Burgess, yes that’s right, a minister/very creative and motivated carpenter built this 100ft treehouse in Crossville, Tennessee.  It took around 14 years to finish without any drawn out plans, aka blueprints.   It has a spacious 10,000 square feet of room inside and the rent is most likely cheaper than your $1200 studio in the big ol’ city.  Jealous.

Liqen's New Work in Okinawa, Japan

Spanish muralist, Liqen, who was featured in our printed April 2012 issue, traveled to Okinawa, Japan last month leaving traces of his handy work around the island. One mural done with a roller depicts a tiny atomic cloud in the palm of a hand and in another part of Okinawa faces were painted on a collection of cinder blocks.
