Friendswithyou "Happy Rainbow" @ Tuen Mun Town Plaza, Hong Kong

After the success of their first animation, Cloudy, the LA-based team that is FriendsWithYou have just completed a very birght, happy looking public art installation, Happy Rainbow, at the Tuen Mun Town Plaza in Hong Kong. Happy Rainbow is an interactive rainbow shrine, created for people of all ages to experience.This 16 piece exhibit varies from a forty-foot interactive bounce house, to fiberglass, plush and resin sculptures, all unified to make an exhibit that is multi sensory and powerful in its complexity.

For the 5th annual festival Juxtapoz is back at art curation duties, braving the schizophrenic weather with a wide assortment of live painting, murals, installations, and interactive art from some of our favorite international artists.

Austrian artist, Erwin Wurm, has taken over the outdoor plaza of the Standard Hotel in New York with am 18-foot, 1.6-ton sculpture of a headless box man. The artist’s new sculpture titled “Big Kastenmann” now occupies the space where KAWS' sculpture “Companion Passing Through” once stood last summer.

We can only assume that Italian muralist, Blu, is a healthy man with a good juicer. For the DesordesCreativas festival in Ordes, Spain, Blu painted this odd to healthy eating and vegetarian lifestyle. Thousands of veggies and fruits, all getting ready, excited, to jump into the blender of life. A good smoothie is born.
