Oakland, California-based artist Grady Gordon has been championed on the Juxtapoz site for his unique method of creating monotype prints. The artist just opened a new solo show, You Remind Me of Someone I've Never Met at Gallery 51 in Denver, Colorado, featuring a new series of monotype works and catalogue.

The elusive and increasingly cult-icon Swampy just released his first product in quite some time, two new prints through Paper Monster. I Like Disappearing and Owl of Yawn are available now. And as Paper Monster notes, "Before releasing this edition of prints, he kept them locked in the closet of an abandoned house owned by an infamous cult in Oakland."

The Outsiders, a gallery and print shop of Lazarides Gallery in London, just released prints from former Juxtapoz cover artists, Conor Harrington and David Choe. Harrington's Tardis of Delight is made in an edition of 60, while David Choe's Helmet was editioned at 187.

Alex, take it from the top: "Due to popular demand and ridiculous prices on Ebay for the first printing, Zerofriends, Upper Playground & Gingko Press teamed up again to re-release it to you wonderful souls. I'm sorry to inform you though, that it's NOT in 3-D, unlike everything else that gets rereleased. But... it DOES have an all new cover and a new surprise twist ending!"

There are many of us who can't get the confidence and will to takeover a billboard and re-insert a bit of truth into the public consciousness, but then again, we can't all be Ron English. Known to cleverly takeover over a billboard in his time, Ron and his Popaganda team are releasing mini-billboard prints, the first being "Breathe," on his site on Wednesday, August 29.

Miss Van, who just opened a new exhibition at Copro Gallery in Santa Monica, has also released a new print with London's Pictures on Walls, Virgen, that has the print shop saying, "Wow. Well this really came out better than we expected. What’s French for ooh la-la?" The print was made in an edition of 60, signed and numbered by the Toulouse-born, Barcelona-based artist, and 5-color screenprint using fluorescent ink and graphite.

Mike Mills, the filmmaker behind Beginners and Thumbsucker, and a designer and fine artist in his own right, has designed 5 new posters for Commune Design that our now available on their website. Paper Chase Press are the ones behind getting the limited edition posters printed, and Mr Mills (featured in the January 2010 issue) has some good words/phrases to say about, and written on, each poster.

Mark your calendars. Tomer Hanuka, cover artist of our January 2008 issue, is set to release a new print, Vertigo, this Friday morning, July 27, via his website. The print sits at 13? x 19? Giclee, with an edition of 55 and going for $85. And when we say Vertigo, we mean Alfred Hitchcock Vertigo. A big preview after the jump...

A Thursday in July calls for something a bit fun, a moment of summertime ease if you will. We just came across The Creative Gun by Mark Fitz and thought this could be a nice image for everyone to pass around. Good work from the Dublin, Ireland artist.

Coinciding with San Diego's Comic-Con convention, Space 4 Art will be hosting Do Anything, a group show focused on DIY publishing and printmaking curated by Christopher Kardambikis. The show opens tonight (Friday July 13th) and hosts an array of artists within this field. Here's what Chris had to say about the show when we spoke to him recently.
