Just yesterday, El Mac released 3 colorways of a new print, "The Prayer." All editioned differently, "The Prayer" is available in vermilion red, metallic copper, and a teal blue variant. Printed with San Francisco's Moon Editions, the print is based on the painting Mac created for the New Masters show at Subliminal Projects in LA earlier this year.

Mark Whalen (aka Kill Pixie), who will have an extensive feature in the January 2012, just released a new print, Geometric Constructions, through Gallery A.S. The new 3-color offset lithograph editioned by Whalen, exploring the relationships between nature and humans, or perhaps more human-like beings, appears as otherworldly botanical print and reflects Whalen's current body of work.

We like how POW puts it: the day "marks the achievements of an unrelenting self-promoting social climber who brought exploitation, slavery and deadly diseases to the Americas." The Loyal Subjects have just teamed up with artist Laurie Lipton to produce a print of her 2002 illustration, Love Bite.There were 213 giclees prints, and are available for $199.00 per giclee. Each giclee is hand signed and numbered by Ms. Lipton. As you probably know, Lipton is famous for her work with graphite.

David B. Smith Gallery and Gregory Euclide have teamed up to release Euclide's album cover work for Bon Iver as a limited-edition print, with 50% of net proceeds donated to Agapé Riding Center and the Greater Mankato Area United Way Connecting Kids Program, two non-profit organizations based in South Central Minnesota.

On August 12, 2011, September 2010 cover artist, Retna, will release a new limited print, Fuel. The print is printed on a 40-inch, 6-color sheet fed Lithographic press, with a 20? x 20? trim size, on 140# Speckletone Cover Stock “Starch White.” That is print talk. It is also being made in an edition of 60, signed and numbered.

Our London correspondent, Butterfly, made an exlcusive visit to Lazarides Gallery's new print studio in Wapping, London. The studio produces exclusive small run editions, hand finished screenprints, HPMs, and works on paper for artists like Paul Insect, Stanley Donwood, and Conor Harrington, amongst others.
