Always one of our favorite artists, Juxtapoz featured artist Seonna Hong just opened a new solo show at LeBasse Projects in Los Angeles, featuring a few stylistic nuances that we are really excited to see. Persistence of Vision is Hong’s first solo exhibition with LeBasse Projects and first in Los Angeles in seven years.

The Feburaruy 2012 cover artist will be showing on the same night as fellow Aussie and extreme talent, Ashley Wood.

As we mentioned on the site over the past few days with Sage Vaughn and Deedee Cheriel, NYC-based Curtis Kulig will also be showing new works at a pop-up exhibition in Northern California with Gallery For the People this Thursday, October 18. The Fall exhibition is the first Bay Area pop-up for the migrating gallery, founded by Eva Maria Daniels and Ally Canosa.

A coinciding show we have been looking forward to ever since we interviewed Australian artist Ashley Wood in our November 2011 issue: Wood and February 2012 cover artist, Jeremy Geddes, are set to open two solo shows at Jonathan LeVine Gallery in NYC this Saturday, October 20. Geddes' Exhale and Wood's Machine Sabbath both have the Australian artists showing new works with a high anticipation throughout the art world.

Bedlam in Old Vic Tunnels, London

For the thrid and final year, Lazarides Gallery in London is set to take over the Old Vic Tunnels underneath Waterloo Station with the exhibition, Bedlam. The interactive, site-specific installation coincides with the Frieze Art Fair, for what we like to call a significant, if not alternative way to see art as opposed to a big hall with booths. This you may see a rat... the show opens October 9.
