We are on deadline this morning, putting the finishing touches on the magazine, and found these vintage-appearing superhero posters by French illustrator, Grégoire Guillemin. They were created as part of Guillemin's exercises in style series, where he examined the classic superhero; Green Hornet, Batman, Thor, Iron Man, and others.

We are always intrigued with what NYC-based artist BÄST is working on, and he has a solo show at The Outsiders in Newcastle, England that comes down this Saturday, October 15. The show continues his love for vintage airline promotional material. Wonder if he likes that new "Pan-Am" show?

We wish we could find out who created these animated gifs turned Neon Movie Poster work, but whoever did them, we are huge fans. Simple ideas, nicely executed, and a good pick of some of the great, iconic films of all-time. The Jaws neon poster is our favorite. More after the jump . . .

We have been exploring more artists that create minimalist poster art, and we came across Christian Jackson, who creates minimalist poster art based on famous children's stories. Little Red Riding Hood, Snow White, Rapunzel, and many others, all well-executed and sleek.

Who doesn't like a good bit of music poster art? Atlanta, Georgia-based Alvin Diec has a great body of poster artwork for a number of great bands, all done with a clever eye and detail to the bands sound and sensibility.

Poster boutique, Mondo, just released a new poster by Aaron Horkey, dealing with a subject we can all get behind: Jurassic Park. This is the first in Mondo's new series of licensed Jurassic Park posters, with Horkey being the first artist to see a release.

These are great, and clever minimalist typography posters by Swedish designer and artist, Patrik Svensson. All his work is based on popular movies and television shows. Like above, Jaws. Just wait and see what he does with Lost.
