Today, Mark Ryden and Porterhouse Fine Art Editions are releasing two colorways of a YHWH vinyl figures created in conjunction with Necessaries Toy Foundation. The black and white edition of YHWH comes in an elaborately designed, gold-embossed box, each figure is hand signed by Mark Ryden, with an included certificate of authenticity and special, numbered mini print. Tara McPherson and Xiaoqing Ding lit up New York's Chelsea art district this past Saturday evening with a show that rocked Jonathan LeVine Gallery. The two women brought their A-game with complimentary solo exhibitions that tapped into two fantastic mythological worlds filled with all kinds of adorable creatures.

If you couldn’t make it to the grand unveiling of Tara McPherson’s highly anticipated solo show this weekend in NYC, enjoy a great new time-lapse video of the artist completing her largest painting to date. The Bunny in the Moon opened this weekend at Jonathan LeVine Gallery, and will remain on view through November 20, 2010. This is the largest painting by Tara to date (Oil on Linen, stretched over Birch panel).
