We are enjoying Bulgarian artist Aneta Ivanova's double exposure photography this morning. Aneta began shooting photographs at the age of 13 and in addtion to her fine art and double exposures, she is also a fashion and portrait photographer.

Mona Kuhn is curating a show entitled Under My Skin: Nudes in Contemporary Photography at Flowers Gallery in New York City opening June 20th. THe exhibition is a selection of works created mostly in the last five years reflecting how we are currently representing the nude through photography. In an interview with Le Journal de Photographie, Mona states, "It is a fascinating subject to me. Trends in art come and go, but the Nude remains a canon of high art, like a shadow we cannot jump away from..."

Boogie has always been on our radar as one of the great contemporary photographers that we get the chance to cover, with both his street photography and now fine art experiments always being an interesting and intense take on the art of the genre. Today, he sent us images from his Demons series, a collection of 11 x 14 inch wet plate collodion images on black plexiglass. 

On Sunday, June 16, from 7-9PM, influential street documentarian Gusmano Cesaretti (featured in MOCA's Art In the Streets and our joining issue), will have a special book signing and exhibition at Family Bookstore in Los Angeles. The photographer's Los Angeles work will be on display, and his new monograph, Fragments of Los Angeles (1969 - 1989), will be available for purchase and signing. 

After years of traveling the world assisting Terry Richardson and Jonathan Mannion, Brooklyn-based photographer Nick Sethi has begun to make the same impact on the emerging photography scene. His first solo exhibition, NOME, is a culmination of two recent trips to India. Between living under a bridge for 3 months with homeless kids, to attending a festival with naked holy men doing yoga painted with ash, Nick exposes an unseen and intimate India that is overlooked by the locals, and rarely seen by any photojournalist...

Spanish photographer Christina Garcia Rodero has dedicated her time to researching and photographing both popular and traditional religious and pagan festivities in Spain and Mediterranean Europe.

Spanish-born photographer Romulo B. Sans splits his time between Barcelona, Havana, and New York. At age 17 he left Barcelona and with his parents' permission, he explored America with one of Stevie Wonder's musicians, who the artist calls "An American hippie my mother had met on a beach in Costa Brava when we were kids."
