We came across this fantastic Tumblr a few weeks ago and had forgotten about it until this morning. Much to our enjoyment there were several new additions to the collection of "Photographs Rendered in Play-doh." The owner of the page takes a photograph and tries to mold it as close as they can in every kid's favorite malleable toy dough.

When we came across Gigi Cifali's series "Absence of Water" we were excited to see that we're not the only ones who find beauty in old pools. "Absence of Water" was Cifali's first solo show  at the Ritrovo di Shazar which opened 16th May 2011, in Benevento, Italy.

Forensic Sculptures Made From Bones of Dead People

Before computers, in coroner and law enforcement offices, forensic artists would mold facial reconstruction sculptures from the bones of unidentifiable victims skeletal remains. In this series of photographic portraits titled Unspeaking Likeness, Arne Svenson traveled around the country taking pictures of these sculptures.
