Nearing the conclusion of his debut solo exhibit in America, UK-based street and fine artist Eine just posted a few of his meticulously hand silk-screened prints from his Corked show, which are posted online here. Eine also finally released the Carebear prints he did last year. Go visit Pure Evil at his space on Leonard Street in London or buy them from the site. We can’t wait to see what else Eine has in store for his next show with London Police, Flying Fortress, Pez in New York next month. Check out more of this talented guy’s work at www.einesigns.co.uk

Juxtapoz // Thursday, June 26, 2008
Ad Hoc Art presents 5 Identities, 5 Destinations, an art exhibition featuring the work of international emerging female artists from the realms of pop surrealism, Asian pop, contemporary folk, and a handful of other fringe contemporary art movements. Participating artists Jenn Porreca (Juxatpoz #89) Amy Crehore, Molly Crabapple, Ewelina Ferruso, Lizz Lopez bring their incredible artistic skills together under one roof for a show which is sure to turn some heads and set some new trends in painting on the East coast. 5 Identities, 5 Destinations also serves as a small survey of the type of art that has had a profound impact on the West coast in recent years, which has spread to the East coast and beyond as this new contemporary movement in art takes over the globe. Sneak a peek at preview works in 5 Identities, 5 Destinations over here…

Here We Grow

Debuting this Saturday, May 17th at Black Maria, Here We Grow will showcase new original works from all these artistic powerhouses, with The Flying Fortress prints also available at the opening. Photos: The Mars Volta & Jeff Jordan

Juxtapoz // Wednesday, February 06, 2008
While New Year's Eve is just a distant hangover for many of us, The Mars Volta New Year's Eve Extravaganza at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium was a night not soon forgotten. Photographer Cascade Wilhelm was lucky enough to not only attend the show, but also to snag some great photos of The Mars Volta, along with images of painter Jeff Jordan's work on display. We're not sure what we like most: Volta's masks, Jeff Jordan's awesome paintings, or Wilhelm's electric photos of all the debauchery. We do know, however, that you need to check out the rest of her photos here...

Ruby Mag: Issue 20

Juxtapoz // Friday, August 17, 2007
The newest issue of Ruby Magazine is online along with another new site design. This issue feels shorter than some of the others, but in no way are we implying that it's lacking. Quite the opposite in fact. Issue 20 is just as packed with visual deliciousness as the other 19 issues. Featured this time around are Roman Vitali, Olivier Cornil, Kinpro, Sebastien Bonin, Keith Warren Greiman, Sofia Lopez Manan, AJ Fosik, and Mike Swaney. So many fancy, high-scoring Scrabble letters in those names. Kinda makes everything else seem fancier.www.ruby-mag.com.ar {moscomment}
